  • 24 oz marinara sauce
  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella cheese, torn
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup fresh basil, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the rigatoni in salted boiling water until al dente (about 8 minutes). Drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the sausage until cooked through (5-7 minutes).
  4. Stir marinara sauce into the skillet with sausage, then add drained rigatoni, mixing well.
  5. In a baking dish, layer half of the rigatoni mixture, sprinkle half of the mozzarella and Parmesan on top, then add the remaining rigatoni mixture and top with the rest of the cheese.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes; remove foil and bake an additional 10-15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
