  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup caramel squares, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
  3. Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually incorporate into the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips and chopped caramel until evenly distributed.
  6. Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto prepared sheets about two inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10–12 minutes or until edges are golden but centers remain soft. Allow to cool slightly before transferring to wire racks.
