  • 12 jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 tbsp fresh basil or parsley (chopped)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Boil salted water and cook jumbo pasta shells until al dente (8-10 minutes). Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat for 6-8 minutes. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Remove from heat, stir in ricotta cheese and half of the mozzarella until combined.
  4. Fill each pasta shell with the beef mixture, then place them in a greased baking dish.
  5. Pour marinara sauce over the stuffed shells and top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan.
  6. Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
