Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a square baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the unsalted butter in a medium saucepan over low heat; let cool slightly.
  3. In a mixing bowl, blend melted butter with granulated and brown sugars until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet until no lumps remain.
  5. Fold half of the mini chocolate eggs into the batter, pour into the prepared pan, and sprinkle remaining mini eggs on top.
