  3. Shape the colored buttercream into egg forms and chill on a parchment-lined tray for 30 minutes.
  4. Melt the candy coating in a double boiler until smooth.
  5. Dip each chilled buttercream egg into the melted coating using a fork, allowing excess to drip off before placing back on parchment.
