  • 12 slider buns
  • 2 lbs pork shoulder
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese
  • 4 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 cup dill pickles, sliced
  • 1 cup caramelized onions
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 2 tsp ground cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Marinate pork shoulder in garlic, orange juice, cumin, salt, and pepper for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  2. Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C). Roast marinated pork in a covered pan with liquid for about 4 hours until tender.
  3. Shred cooked pork with two forks.
  4. Toast slider buns in a skillet over medium heat until golden brown.
  5. Spread mustard on each bun half; layer shredded pork, caramelized onions, pickles, and cheese.
  6. Bake assembled sliders at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes until cheese is melted.
