  • 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (approx. 450g)
  • 1 package (14 oz) wonton wrappers
  • 2 cups fresh vegetables (lettuce, bell peppers, carrots)
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 cup vegetable oil (for frying)
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tbsp lime juice

Instructions

  1. Dice the chicken breasts into small pieces. In a bowl, mix with garlic powder and soy sauce.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté the chicken mixture until golden brown and cooked through, about 7-10 minutes.
  3. Place one tablespoon of the chicken filling in the center of each wonton wrapper. Moisten edges with water and fold into a triangle.
  4. Fry wontons in hot oil (350°F/175°C) until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  5. Drain on paper towels and top with shredded veggies and drizzle with sweet chili sauce mixed with lime juice.
  6. Serve immediately while hot.
