Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C) and prepare a roasting pan.
  2. Remove the turkey from packaging and pat dry with paper towels.
  3. Rub the turkey with olive oil and season generously with salt and pepper.
  4. Stuff the cavity with quartered citrus fruits, garlic cloves, and onion wedges.
  5. Tuck fresh thyme sprigs in the cavity and under the skin.
  6. Place the turkey breast side up in the roasting pan and roast for approximately 13 minutes per pound until golden brown.
