Instructions

  3. In another bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, baking soda, pumpkin pie spice, and salt.
  4. Gradually combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients until just blended; avoid overmixing.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips evenly into the batter.
  6. Spoon the batter into muffin cups about two-thirds full and bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Cool for five minutes in the pan before transferring to a wire rack.
