  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter

Instructions

  1. Set up three plates: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs.
  2. Pound each cutlet between plastic wrap to about half an inch thick for even cooking.
  3. Season cutlets with salt and pepper. Dredge in flour, dip in the egg mixture, then coat in breadcrumbs.
  4. In a skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tbsp butter. Cook each cutlet for about 3 minutes per side until golden brown. Transfer to paper towels to drain.
  5. In the same skillet, add remaining butter. Sauté onions and garlic until fragrant, then add mushrooms and cook until soft.
  6. Pour in heavy cream, season with salt and pepper, and simmer until slightly thickened.
