  • 1 cup unsalted pistachios, roughly chopped
  • 1 cup dried figs, chopped
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Tear the panettone into bite-sized pieces and combine with the chopped pistachios and figs in a large bowl.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until smooth.
  4. Pour the custard mixture over the panettone and gently press down to soak.
