Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream softened butter with granulated and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in eggs one at a time followed by vanilla extract until well blended.
  5. Gradually mix in dry ingredients until combined; do not overmix.
  6. Scoop tablespoons of dough onto prepared sheets about two inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden. Cool completely before frosting.
  7. For the frosting, blend cream cheese with powdered sugar and heavy cream until smooth. Spread on cooled cookies and top with fresh fruit.
